Some relatives of Napoléon Ambroise Cottet had lived in Paris near Montmartre from 1860 to 1881.
His daughter Anna Charlotte lived 9, cité Véron, a small lane close to the Moulin Rouge, with her husband Louis Nicolas Gervais, hosiery worker. She was a teacher. The first wife of Napoléon Ambroise died in her appartment on the 2nd November 1875 as it was certified on the death register by her son-in-law and another hosiery worker living 1 rue Burq ( which is today the address of a "boutique Petit-Bateau" - hosiery products from Troyes).
Anna Charlotte Cottet died 28th January 1881, 2 rue Ramey, 47 years old. She was a herbalist according the declaration signed by her husband and another hosiery worker living rue d'Orsel in the quarter Marché Saint Pierre.
Today, there is a very old herbalist store 2 rue Ramey - a strangeness " Bizarre, bizarre" 'You've said bizarre my cousin".
